First Day of School

Erik started 3rd grade.  He moved up to the elementary school and has 3 teachers this year. 

Kyle started 1st grade.  He is "doing hard work." 

OHIO

Our trip to Ohio included a visit with grandparents, Cedar Point, a hike, the Akron Zoo, and Greg's 20th high school reunion. 

The boys enjoyed the roller coasters. This was Kyle's first time!  He rode lots of the big rides including the Mine Ride, Corkscrew, the Gemini, & the Iron Dragon. Woo hoo!

Erik's Rain Stick

Erik was one of 12 students from Westview Primary School selected to have their artwork displayed at Northwoods Mall this week. Erik's written description of the process of creating the rain stick was also posted alongside his art. Preston's (Erik's friend) flower was also chosen and is directly beneath Erik's.

Kyle's first field trip

Kyle rode the bus for the first time to go to his first field trip with his kindergarten class. They explored the swamps and saw cypress trees. We saw turtles and a small alligator in the wild. Kyle enjoyed the aquarium and butterfly house with his classmates. It was a beautiful day!

Baseball

This spring the boys are both in baseball. It's Kyle's first season. We are "base balling" almost every night of the week between both boys games and practices. Go Reds! Go Rockies!
