Erik is 4

Erik turned 4 today.

Spiderman, Spiderman, Spiderman.

That about sums up the day.

Early this morning Erik picked out his favorite Spiderman shirt and decided that Kyle needed to wear his Spidey shirt too.

Erik brought cupcakes to preschool to share with his classmates. Greg came home for lunch to open gifts with Erik. Aunt Sue, Grae, and Jackson joined in the celebration.

Erik unsteadily tried out his new Spiderman skates and Spiderman scooter. And then spent much of the afternoon playing his new Wii Mario Kart game while it was raining outside. We had a full day.

The Mueller visit

Lynnea and her whole family spent the weekend with us. The girls (plus Kyle) got to go shopping while the boys went to the Citadel football game. Erik and Rylan decided to have their own football game in our family room. Wish they lived closer.....maybe next move....ha ha!

Birthday surprise

Erik saw a package on the counter in the kitchen.....he read all the letters in his name and the address and then begged us to open it. Yes, of course, we let him open it early. Thank you Uncle Jeff and Aunt Kristen for the wonderful prizes for Erik's birthday. He LOVES everything as you can see.

Erik started soccer for the first time today. I missed it because I had to work, but Greg took pictures and videos for me and the blog. Erik had a great time. I can't wait to see it for myself next week. The team has 6 kids (all age 3) and 1 very brave coach.

Boys on Trikes

The big excitement around here lately is riding tricycles. Kyle just got a new one (because I was tired of the fighting over the one). But they trade often. Erik is actually pictured riding Kyle's tricycle in these pictures.
