New Glasses

Erik got new glasses on Sunday after crashing into a little girl at church on Saturday and breaking his old ones. Thank you Lens Crafters for being open on Sunday! :)

Soccer

Erik is playing soccer this fall with a team from his new school. He is #10 on the Fire team. These pictures are from his first game. Erik scored one goal! Go Erik!

Erik Turns 6

Erik's birthday! He got new legos, a Wii game, and a Bibleman costume. We celebrating by going out to dinner at Sticky Fingers. He had a hard time sleeping the night before his big day, probably because I decided to put a bunch of balloons in his room that night so he would see them in the morning. Unfortunately he woke up at 2am and didn't fall back asleep until about 4:30am. Ugh! Don't worry I won't do that again next year!

BEACH

We have been to the beach a bunch of times this summer. (I love having weekends off work!) I have forgotten the camera EVERY time until Labor Day weekend. Here are a few pictures of us having fun at the beach. It will probably be the last time we get to play in the water until next summer.
Kyle loves the water and enjoys going under the waves and holding his breath. Erik gets upset if he gets the salt water in his eyes so he has learned to wear goggles in the ocean which prevents him from running back to the beach for a towel every time a wave hits him. Both boys love playing in the sand too. Erik helps me build a sandcastle and Kyle's big job is to get buckets of water and make pictures in the sand.

Geocaching

Here are some pictures of our new family adventures of geocaching. We've been 3 times in the last month and it's lots of fun. Erik always brings his Indiana Jones water bottle for our hunts to find hidden treasures. Greg of course is in charge of the GPS and we've been to many new places already in the Charleston area.
