Gramma's photo shoot

Gramma Carolyn bought the boys matching sweaters for Christmas. She wanted all the grandkids to wear coordinating clothes for a picture for her. Of course she couldn't get them all to wear the clothes at the same time at Thanksgiving. So these pictures were taken for her to add to her collection. As you can see Kyle was not thrilled with having his picture taken. He screamed the whole time. The pictures that look like he may be smiling or content are just in between screams. The last picture sums it up. He was NOT happy. Usually Erik is the one that doesn't want his picture taken. Hmmmmmm......that's a switch!

Seacoast Kids Christmas Program

Erik performed in our church's children's program Friday night. His class (4-6yrs) sang the Little Drummer Boy song. This was a pleasant surprise from our boy that strives to not do things we want him to do a lot of the time. The cutest thing Erik did on stage was inch his way closer and closer to the microphone and try to grab it.
Kyle was a very good member of the audience and sat very still for a whole hour. Even though his class (2-3 yrs) performed too we didn't think he was quite ready to go on stage....maybe next year. We were very proud of both our boys!

Bushwacker Decorating

We decorated our boat for the Cooper River Marina's boat decorating contest this week. Thank you to our helpers Kip and Mary for their help. It was super foggy that night and the pictures look like they have rain drops on them. I'll keep you posted on the winners.

Box of peanuts

The boys had a great time playing in a Fisher-Price box filled with packaging peanuts. It doesn't take much to make them smile. It made a huge mess from our family room through the kitchen, foyer, and living room. Thank goodness the boys helped clean it up!

Storage unit
Greg finally finished his project after weeks of hard work. I'm so proud of him. He made a storage unit for our family room. It is now a place to store all of our video game stuff & toys. Good job Greg!

Sweet fun

Last Friday Erik and Greg baked cookies together. We shared the cookies with our small group from church. Unfortunately Greg shared the news while everyone was eating that he let Erik spread the icing on the cookies with his fingers. Of course since he is 4 he licked his fingers while he was doing this. Yuck!
On Sunday we made smores together.

Kyle reading "Go Dog Go"
Kyle's favorite book lately is "Go Dog Go." He has been "reading" it to me the past few times and gets a lot of the words right. I can tell he has the book memorized. It may be hard for everyone else to understand much of what he is saying, but it is cute anyway. Enjoy!
