Thanksgiving Feast

Erik celebrated Thanksgiving.......preschool style. Although I missed his singing sensation (I had to work), Greg saw his show and shared in the school's Thanksgiving Feast. Erik stopped by the pharmacy after school to give me a necklace made of macaroni, a pine cone turkey and a handprint turkey. I proudly wore and displayed all for the rest of the day at the pharmacy window. I took a few pictures of Erik in his Native American costume and turkey hat later that night. He sang his songs for me too.

Blowing out the candles......he actually did it! I was impressed

Finishing up our weekend at Disney....we celebrated Kyle's birthday. He is now the big 2! And he definitely has an opinion and can throw a temper tantrum now. He also climbs on everything and is passionate about Spiderman and Max & Ruby. We love you Kyle!
The morning of Kyle's birthday we went back to the Magic Kingdom and rode some rides like the Tea Cups (again) and Aladdin's Magic Carpet Ride. Kyle got a special Winnie the Pooh cup too.
We then spent the rest of the day at Epcot. We watched a Nemo show and rode the Nemo ride. Both were big hits with the boys. Dinner was supposed to be another Character Dinner, but we ended up just getting some fast food in "Japan". Kyle refused to eat any of it, so ended up eating Cheez-Its and graham snacks for dinner. He had room for the cake that his Gramma Myra and Papa Harry brought from Ft. Meyers. They surprised the boys and drove 3 hours just to see Kyle open his presents. He got lots of books, a cool new Lightning McQueen jacket, and a car track. Thanks to Aunt Kristen and Uncle Jeff and Gramma and Papa too! We finished up the evening by mini-golfing at the resort. What a weekend....whew!

Disney World (Day 2)

We went to Disney's Hollywood Studios this morning and met up with our friends Karen, Kevin, and Preston. Erik told us his favorite part of the day was, "everything." He really enjoyed the Indiana Jones stunt show and the Star Wars ride. Kyle's favorite was watching the Playhouse Disney Show and getting his picture taken with Lightning McQueen and Mater. After a mid-day break we went back to the Magic Kingdom for a few more rides, ice cream, and fireworks. The boys went nuts over the Tea Cups again and Erik finally got to ride Dumbo. Unfortunately it was after 9PM and Kyle fell asleep in my arms about 2 minutes before that ride. Kyle had a breezy nap.

Karen bought the boys Mickey Mouse lollipops and we stopped to enjoy them before the parade

Coloring before dinner.....Erik was dressed like Indiana Jones for days during the trip and especially liked his hat and "boomer" (gun with holster).

Enjoying the Merry-go-Round

Disney World (Day 1)

Our first full day at Disney World. We packed in lots of fun. Kyle's favorite of course was the Winnie the Pooh ride and eating dinner with Pooh and friends. Erik's favorite was seeing the show in front of Cinderella's castle....it had Peter Pan fighting Capt. Hook. Other highlights included Erik driving a car at the Indy Speedway, spinning in the Tea Cups, and Peter Pan's flight.

Fair Fun

We had fun at the Coastal Carolina Fair this afternoon. Erik won a prize by doing the "Fishing Game" and played on a fun slide. Kyle refused to eat ANYTHING! We saw animals. Kyle's favorites were the goats and the cows. He mooed at them and tried to climb in with them. Maybe Disney will be fun after all.

Look closely in the first picture....Erik is running from the camera and Kyle is ecstatic about the goats.
