First day school K4

Erik's first day of K4 was today. He was so excited! He is in class with lots of his good friends from last year. He will go 3 days a week this year. Mon, Wed, & Fri 9-12. His brother Kyle....not until next year buddy. He apparently was not happy about Erik going back to school. He cried half way to the school and did the same thing on the way home after picking him up in the afternoon. Hmmm...not sure what that was about, but I never do with him...LOL!

Camping June 25

We went camping at Hunting Island near Beaufort, SC last weekend. It was lots of hard work and the mosquitoes were crazy. We went to the beach a couple of times and the boys enjoyed it. Also took a walk on the marsh boardwalk nearby. Greg's favorite part was roasting marshmallows with his boys. We didn't make smores...I forgot the graham crackers....oops!

Night Night Dinner Time

Kyle was falling asleep last week during dinner. He refused to take a nap that day. Too funny! He just wouldn't stop eating.

Erik's New Glasses

Erik got his glasses today. He didn't want to wear them at the optical center for more than 3 seconds. I will be working with him all day to keep them on his face. He is already learning how to take care of them and wants to clean them all the time. This is grown up stuff for a 4 1/2 yr old.

Visit with the L's

Gramma and Papa came for a visit. The boys loved all the attention. I appreciated their help while Greg was out of town. We spent a lot of time outside. We couldn't have asked for better weather. One day while I was at work, Myra took Erik to the movies. While they were here I took Erik to the eye doctor and found out that he needs glasses. They are supposed to be ready to pick up later this week. Pictures will be coming soon.

Easter verses

Erik is learning Bible verses at church that he is committing to memory. The last two weeks he learned about the Easter story.

Sleeping Beauties

I really enjoy checking on my kids when they are asleep. Erik decided to sleep with his animals tonight for the first time. He tucked them in over and over with his blanket before falling asleep with them. I told Erik he was being a good "daddy" to his babies. He reminded me that he was NOT a daddy.... just a little boy! Too sweet.

Gramma's silly stories

Bedtime stories are always the best....especially when Gramma reads them.

Bikes and Bubbles

Erik finally became comfortable riding his 2 wheel bike (with training wheels) during Gramma Carolyn's visit.

Kyle had fun blowing bubbles with Gramma.
