Our first full day at Disney World. We packed in lots of fun. Kyle's favorite of course was the Winnie the Pooh ride and eating dinner with Pooh and friends. Erik's favorite was seeing the show in front of Cinderella's castle....it had Peter Pan fighting Capt. Hook. Other highlights included Erik driving a car at the Indy Speedway, spinning in the Tea Cups, and Peter Pan's flight.

Fair Fun

We had fun at the Coastal Carolina Fair this afternoon. Erik won a prize by doing the "Fishing Game" and played on a fun slide. Kyle refused to eat ANYTHING! We saw animals. Kyle's favorites were the goats and the cows. He mooed at them and tried to climb in with them. Maybe Disney will be fun after all.
Look closely in the first picture....Erik is running from the camera and Kyle is ecstatic about the goats.

No trick-or-treating
Sorry folks....you'll have to look at the costume pictures from the Pumpkin party to see my kids costumes. There was no trick-or-treating at the Lindstrom house today. Erik had enough of Halloween fun during his Fall Festival at school today and decided with many tears that he did not want to go "real trick-or-treating." Kyle was dressed and ready to go. But... as is typical these days with Erik.....he does not do ANYTHING that we REALLY want him to do. And we're going to Disney World next week. That should be fun.....right???

Pumpkin Patch
Erik's preschool class at the pumpkin patch with their teachers.
Erik's decorated pumpkin.
Erik having fun in the hay-maze.
Me and Erik waiting for our hayride.
Erik checking out the chicken coop.
The pigs are my favorite farm animal.
Erik's friends Ian and Daniel feeding the goats. Erik didn't want to touch the animals...I don't blame him....yuck!
Gramma Carolyn joined us Tueday at the pumpkin patch with Erik's 3K class. We were freezing (sorry Gramma....I hope you've warmed up by now). We enjoyed many activities including:
- Pumpkin decorating
- Animals
- Hayride
- Learning about corn uses
- Looking at the scarecrows
- Hay maze
- Lunch at picnic tables
The hayride was Erik's favorite part.
It looks like Erik had a great time, right? I wish I had pictures to show you his temper tantrum that lasted for over an hour because he didn't want to go to the Pumpkin patch. It was quite a difficult morning. Oh, Erik! You have the meanest mother in the world.....making you go to a fun pumpkin patch. It must be a hard life.

Erik vs. Frog
Erik and Papa Rusty found a frog. Poor frog!
Kyle checked him out too after Gramma Carolyn scooped him into a yogurt container.

Grandparent fun
We enjoyed my parents surprise visit this week. They had a whirlwind weekend. We went to the Pumpkin party Sat when they got here (after they drove 10 hours!).
Sunday we had church in the morning and celebrated Greg's birthday in the afternoon by going sailing (without the kids).
Monday we bought a mattress and set up Kyle's new twin size bed. He is now sleeping in the same bed frame that I had as a kid.
Tuesday my mom and I went with Erik's preschool class to the pumpkin patch (Papa stayed home with Kyle).
Wednesday morning they went home.
