Pictures Aboard the Bushwacker

Today we took Spring pictures at the Cooper River Marina on our boat. I thought it would be a pleasant surprise for Greg. I plan on taking a few of the best pictures and framing them for him. I wanted to share a few on the blog too.

Snow Day 2

Erik loved playing in the snow today. He made snowballs and snow angels and even tried eating some snow. Kyle took a little more coaxing. First Kyle insisted on wearing his favorite sandals outside; after 15 minutes of fussing, he finally decided to wear his shoes. Then he refused to put on a hat or mittens. We went to our neighbor's house to play but Kyle came home early crying because he was so cold. We all enjoyed some pancakes for breakfast afterwards. We still have some snow after the day is done, but most of it has melted already. What a fun day!

Snow in South Carolina

Today the weatherman was right. He said it was going to snow and it did. The boys made snowballs and were excited & amazed by the white stuff falling from the sky. Even Maggi enjoyed it. Hopefully it won't be melted in the morning and we can build a snowman. This is Erik's first snowfall (that he can remember) and Kyle's first snowfall ever. Fun stuff! And a special treat for our Southern boys.

Today is a rainy day. Erik and I spent time decorating a shoe box for his Valentine's Day party at preschool. Kyle, of course, is putting together another puzzle. He is currently working on a hundred piece Toy Story puzzle. He loves the challenge!

Kristen and Jeff Visit

Over the weekend Aunt Kristen and Uncle Jeff came to visit us. Erik enjoyed playing games and getting tons of attention. Kyle and Aunt Kristen bonded while putting puzzles together. Although their time here was short we appreciated the effort they made to fit us into their vacation.

Kyle--Pre-Potty Training

Kyle is FINALLY starting to show some interest in potty training. He likes to climb up and around the toilet before sitting down. He is mostly interested in sitting on the potty when he is trying to avoid getting into the bathtub at bath time. This picture is a perfect snap-shot of his attitude toward using the potty. Anyone want to volunteer to potty train him? Yeah--me either! Ha ha!

Christmas photo shoot

These pictures were taken for our Christmas cards this year. You didn't get one? Huh? Yeah, don't feel bad, no one else did either. I didn't get around to sending any Christmas cards this year. Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and their New Year 2010 is starting off well.
